On 19 March, Anna Abramova, Head of the MGIMO AI Centre, took part in the webinar ‘Practical work with the UN: development projects, standardisation, tenders’ organised by the Autonomous Nonprofit Organisation ‘Digital Economy’ together with its partners.
The event was dedicated to discussing practical aspects of interaction between Russian companies and international organisations of the UN system. During the webinar, participants discussed mechanisms and tools that enable them to build effective international partnerships and successfully enter foreign markets.

The Head of the MGIMO AI Centre stressed the need to build systematic cooperation with UN agencies and noted the importance of broader involvement of the Russian expert community in the organisation's activities. The expert outlined the key areas and tracks in which the MGIMO AI Centre actively assists companies in implementing international projects. In particular, she spoke about opportunities for project participation through the UN procurement system, as well as participation in analytical events, conferences and seminars.

Anna Abramova emphasised: ‘Long-term effective presence in projects requires consistent systematic work in different areas of UN activities. The digital component is on the agenda of every UN specialised agency. This opens up opportunities for business to actively participate in various formats - project (through the UN procurement system), analytical, conferences and seminars’.
