The final report of the UN High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence has been published. The document is the result of extensive consultations that took place during the previous year in the run-up to the Future Summit (22-23 September). Anna Abramova, Director of the MGIMO AI Centre, participated in the preparation of the report. The report summarises months of work to identify the risks associated with AI and to formulate proposals to address them, including through international regulatory efforts. The expert authors of the AI Advisory Body include A. Abramova, Director of the MGIMO AI Centre.
The document is not legally binding for UN member states, but, as Anna Abramova believes, it ‘contains ideas that will inevitably be reflected in one way or another in international documents and national legislation’.
