Anna Abramova, Head of the MGIMO AI Centre, attended the BRICS Youth Summit in Ulyanovsk
During the panel session ‘BRICS Youth and Innovation - Building a World of Equal Technological Opportunities’, Anna Abramova spoke about the global AI regulation. The panelists also discussed how technology can make the world a better place and what steps can be taken to ensure equal access to it.

Russia is chairing this year's BRICS under the motto ‘Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security’. The BRICS Youth Summit is attended by more than 200 young representatives of the BRICS member countries aged 18 to 35 who came to Russia to discuss the prospects for youth co-operation.

The programme of the Summit, which took place on 22-26 July, included several panel sessions, a discussion platform ‘Youth Research as a Tool for Influencing the Future’ and a plenary session, as well as the opening of the International Photo Exhibition ‘BRICS Universe’, featuring images of UNESCO's creative cities taken from space and from the ground.
