Director of the MGIMO AI Centre Anna Abramova Spoke at the “AI for Good” Global Summit
10 July 2025 — Director of the MGIMO AI Centre Anna Abramova delivered a presentation at the flagship workshop “AI Readiness – Towards a Standardised Assessment System.” The workshop was held as part of the AI for Good Global Summit (8–11 July, Geneva), the UN’s leading platform on artificial intelligence organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The workshop (15:00–18:15 Moscow time) focused on creating a unified system for assessing the readiness of countries and organisations to deploy AI. It brought together leading global experts, including representatives of Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and other organisations. The discussion aimed to refine assessment methodologies, accelerate AI adoption in key sectors, and prepare an updated edition of the AI Readiness Report.

Anna Abramova presented a talk titled “Assessing AI Readiness in the International Economy: Challenges for Global Trade.”
