The MGIMO AI Centre has successfully completed its executive education programme “IT Export for Startups,” held on November 5–6, 2025.Over 60 founders of IT companies and international development managers took part in the two-day intensive course, gaining practical tools and strategic insights for entering foreign markets. The programme was designed to help Russian startups avoid common pitfalls in export activities and confidently expand into new international markets.
Key topics of the course included:
- Global AI regulation and the formation of the international market landscape.
- Government support: participants received step-by-step guidance on accessing current export support measures from the Russian Export Center (REC) and the Moscow Export Center (MEC).
- Regional market specifics: in-depth sessions on doing business and understanding legal and cultural nuances in South Africa, CIS countries, China, and the Middle East.
- Practical tools: expert insights on IT product promotion channels and strategies for preparing export operations.

- Maria Glotova, Expert on Business Development with China (formerly Yandex, Ozon);
- Nikolay Trzhaskal, Director for AI Technology Development, FabricaONE.AI.
Anna Abramova, Director of the MGIMO AI Centre, noted:

The successful launch of the programme confirmed its relevance and marked the beginning of a new series of educational initiatives by the MGIMO AI Centre for the technology sector.
