Anna Abramova Takes Part in the International India AI Impact Summit 2026
Anna Abramova, Director of the MGIMO AI Centre, is taking part in the international India AI Impact Summit 2026, held in New Delhi on 16-20 February.

One of the key events on the final day of the Summit, 20 February, was a high-level discussion held on the sidelines of the forum and dedicated to The Role of Science in International AI Governance. As part of the session, UN Secretary-General António Guterres delivered a keynote address outlining priorities for global cooperation on AI, including safety, trust, and equitable access.

A separate in-person meeting was also held between the UN Secretary-General and members of the High-level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence and the Independent International Council on AI.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 brings together representatives of governments, business, academia, and international organizations to discuss the impact of AI on the economy, public institutions, and the global governance system, as well as to develop practical solutions for the responsible and safe advancement of AI.
