Anna Abramova Contributed to the Preparation of an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Report
Anna Abramova, Head of the MGIMO AI Clinkedin , joined the group of international experts as a co-author of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) report "AI Ready – Analysis Towards a Standardized Readiness Framework. Report 2.0".
The report was prepared within the framework of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) and is dedicated to the development of a unified international approach to assessing the readiness of countries, industries, and organizations for the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. The document synthesizes the results of extensive expert collaboration involving 88 specialists from 38 countries, representing academia, government authorities, the private sector, and international organizations.
As part of the work on the report, Anna Abramova participated in ITU expert consultations and contributed to the analytical development of key dimensions of AI readiness, including digital skills, innovation ecosystem development, regulation, standards, and international coordination.
The publication “AI Ready – Analysis Towards a Standardized Readiness Framework. Report 2.0” was released in January 2026 and is regarded by the ITU as a foundation for the further development of international standards, self-assessment tools, and practices for the responsible global deployment of artificial intelligence technologies.
