Oleg Gurov, Research Associate at the MGIMO AI Centre, contributed as an expert to the preparation of the VCIOM expert and analytical report “Internet of Bodies: Tomorrow Begins Today!” The report focuses on the prospects of the Internet of Bodies - technologies that connect digital services with the human body.

The report emphasizes that the development of this area requires not only technological readiness, but also clear legal and ethical frameworks.
Among its key findings, the report notes that solutions in this field should be tested in dedicated regulatory sandboxes, while risks related to hacking and data leaks should be taken into account in advance. It also stresses the need to ensure that individuals retain control over their biometric and medical data.
The report further highlights that without public trust and an appropriate level of digital literacy, even the most promising technologies cannot be effectively integrated into everyday practices.
